Hospital Water Treatment Plant Upgrade

Over 1,000 customers enjoying improved water supply in East County Limerick following investment by Uisce Éireann.

Uisce Éireann has completed upgrade works to the water treatment plant in Hospital, East County Limerick. The completion of these works has enabled the supply to be removed from the Environmental Protection Agency's Remedial Action List (RAL). Up until now, there was inadequate treatment to prevent cryptosporidium from entering the supply.
