Cocklehill Wastewater Pump Station
Uisce Éireann Growth and Development Programme
Uisce Éireann, in partnership with Louth County Council is upgrading the wastewater network at Cocklehill, Blackrock, Co. Louth to support social and economic growth.
The works involve the upgrade of Cocklehill Wastewater pump station and is part of a project to improve the capacity of the existing wastewater network in the area and improve operational performance. These works are being carried out as part of Uisce Éireann's Growth and Development Programme commenced in March 2023.
These works involve the upgrade of the existing pump station, located at the end of Carraig Ard cul de sac.
This project is being delivered to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the capacity of the existing wastewater network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.
The works are being carried out on behalf of Uisce Éireann by GMC Utilities Ltd. and are expected to be completed by the end of 2024.

Local access and emergency services will be maintained at all times. We understand that this type of work can be inconvenient and works crews will make every effort to minimise any disruption these necessary works may cause.
Standard working hours are between 8am and 7pm Monday - Friday, and Saturday 8am-5pm (if required) with no work anticipated on Sundays or public holidays.
