Ardaun Local Infrastructure Housing Activation Fund (LIHAF) Water Network Upgrades

Uisce Éireann, in partnership with Galway City Council, is planning a project to upgrade the water network in the Ballybrit area to support future growth and development.

The works will involve the upgrade of existing water mains and construction of new watermains in the Ballybrit area, to support existing and future developments within the community. It will improve the capacity of the existing water network in the area, improving performance and reducing demands on the current network.

The works are currently at early design stage. 

• Supporting social and economic development - This project will facilitate social and economic growth, including planned residential development.
• Improving the water infrastructure to facilitate future demand - This project will ensure the required capacity of the water infrastructure to support future development in the area.
