Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council are working to restore water supply to customers in parts of Malahide following bursts on two watermains
Uisce Éireann is working with Fingal County Council to carry out urgent repairs to restore water supply in parts of Malahide. Crews are working to repair two bursts on the watermains as quickly and as safely as possible in line with Covid-19 protocols.
Properties in the following areas may be impacted by disruption to their supply while the repairs are underway; Biscayne; Sea Park and surrounding areas as well as Back Road and surrounding areas. Both watermains repairs are expected to be completed by 4pm. Once the repairs are successfully completed, normal water supply will begin to be restored. Full water supply may take 1-2 hours to return as water refills the network.
Uisce Éireann is working at this time, with our Local Authority partners, contractors and others to safeguard the health and well-being of both staff and the public and to ensure the continuity of critical drinking water and wastewater services. Uisce Éireann would like to remind people to follow the HSE COVID-19 advice and ensure frequent handwashing.
Uisce Éireann understands the inconvenience when a burst occurs and thanks customers for their patience while we work to repair the burst and restore normal supply to impacted customers. Uisce Éireann and Fingal County Council regrets any inconvenience caused.
